Hoover Baseball Club Mission Statement

 To provide a high quality tournament baseball program to children living in areas where public schools are zoned to attend Hoover High School. We seek to provide those players who have the interest, dedication and abilities the opportunity to develop their character and baseball skills through instruction, training and an expanded number of games against the best competition available.


HBC Goals:

    • This posting is for the Head Baseball Coach position needed for our 12u select team.
    • Detailed Description
    • Under the direction of the HBC, the Head Coach assumes responsibility to organize, prepare, and provide technical and administrative support to an established 12u team and coaches. The head coach must know his sport thoroughly, be familiar with current trends of the sport, have adequate skill background, and be willing to adapt to the current HBC terms and fundamental skill sets. The head coach must be cognizant of all safety issues and hazards associated with his sport, communicate these concerns to the administration, players and parents, and devote full effort in providing a safe atmosphere.
    • Duties include attending preseason meetings as scheduled with parents; submitting rosters, medical forms, parent permission forms, practice schedules and scrimmages to the Team Admin; maintaining team and individual statistics.
